Under Hardware Overview, look for Model Identifier and copy itĩ. Click the Apple in the top left hand corner and select About This Mac Open ist on your desktop with a text editorĨ. Drag the file "ist" to your desktop (I also recommend saving it in another place as well in case you want to revert to the original)Ħ. Control Click or Right Click on Boot Camp Assistant and select "Show Package Contents"ĥ. Bootcamp 5 will see this as a x86 install file though and won't allow it to continue. It is possible to use the Windows 7 ISO with both x86 and 圆4 on the same install file. I tried it, and it worked first time, like a charm. I had the same problem, and found the solution on MacRumours, posted by one "falkas", to whom all credit is due. ![]() ![]() Please keep in mind that I'm using El Capitan. Select your Windows 7 ISO once again and that should do the trick for you as well. ![]() Select one of the images "Apple write" and go on file and hit eject there.If you can see "Apple write" or something, ejecting these did the trick for me.If you can see images that are called DVD eject those.Check if you can see the Disk Images tab under the External tab.Click continue and then select your Windows 7 ISO file.Open Bootcamp, check the top option and leave the two underneath unchecked. ![]() So it frustrated me and started searching on the web for solutions.Īnd I had read someone saying "unmounting the image" solved it for them. I received the error "Bootcamp will not recognise 圆4 Windows 7" as well. I see a lot of you guys struggling to get it to work.
